Dustin and Katie’s backyard koi pond was hand-built, shaped by creativity, persistence, and a few rebuilding lessons along the way. Designed to feel like a natural spring tucked into a woodland garden, it features a cascading waterfall, a lush bog area, and an organic arrangement of native rocks and plants. The pond is home to 12 lively koi and goldfish whose vibrant colors shimmer beneath the surface. Towering trees, soft ground cover, and the gentle sound of falling water create a serene, shaded retreat—a tranquil space that reflects both the beauty of nature and the heart behind its creation. Although the pond was one of the many featured on the 2022 pond tour, there have been a few significant changes that make it a whole new site to be seen.
